Recognizing that Out of School Time programs are critical to a child's academic success in school, College Bound Dorchester provides students with a range of activities including homework assistance, writing, visual and performing arts, science exploration, physical education and field trips. During the 2011 fiscal year, 98% of Out of School Time students were promoted to the next grade level on time. Out of School Time programs serve children ages 5 to 13 years between the hours of 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm during the academic year, and all day during school and summer vacations. Programs are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and income eligible slots are available for parents meeting the requirements. Vouchers are also accepted.
